Trauma-informed therapy for individuals and couples, grounded in nervous system safety and relational care in Hurst, TX

What Therapy Here Looks Like
Therapy at Healing Reimagined isn't one-size-fits-all. It's a collaborative, whole-person process that combines evidence-based approaches with somatic and holistic tools, so we can reach the parts of you that insight alone hasn't been able to touch.
Some people come in knowing exactly what they want to work on.
Others arrive with a general sense that something feels stuck. Maybe in their relationships, their body, or their daily life, but it can't always be named quite yet. Both ways of entering are completely okay starting places. We'll figure it out together.
Sessions are 50 minutes and held in-person at my office in Hurst, TX, conveniently located for clients throughout the Fort Worth and DFW area, or virtually for Texas residents. A free 15-minute consultation call is available so you can get a sense of whether we're a good fit before committing.

Approaches I Use
I draw from a range of approaches, and use what actually fits you. Whether you're looking for EMDR therapy in the DFW area, somatic work, or a more integrative approach, our sessions may incorporate:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — An extensively researched therapy that helps your brain reprocess traumatic memories and deeply held negative beliefs, so they no longer carry the same weight. EMDR doesn't require you to talk through everything in detail; it works at the level where those experiences are stored.
ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) — A brief, evidence-based approach that uses guided eye movements and imagery to help your brain reorganize how distressing memories are stored. Many people notice significant shifts in just a few sessions.
Somatic Awareness — Paying attention to what your body is holding. Trauma lives in the nervous system, not just the mind, and healing often requires working with the body directly — noticing sensations, tracking activation, and building felt safety from the inside out.
CBT and ACT — Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy offer practical frameworks for understanding your thought patterns, shifting unhelpful responses, and building psychological flexibility.
Enneagram-Informed Work — Understanding your Enneagram type can be a powerful lens for recognizing your patterns, motivations, and relational dynamics with more compassion and less self-judgment.
Mindfulness and Meditation — Integrated throughout our work when helpful, not as a prescription but as a practice. This will help you build capacity to be with what's present.
